We are currently seeking a skilled Low Voltage Technician to join our Installation Team
**Responsibilities**:
Install and configure low voltage systems according to specifications and industry standards.
- Pulling, terminating, dressing, testing, and labeling CAT5e, CAT6, CAT6a.
- Troubleshoot and repair issues with low voltage systems, including wiring, connections, and equipment malfunctions.
- Perform inspections to ensure the proper functioning of installed systems.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure successful project completion.
- Keep accurate records of work performed, including documentation of installations, and tasks performed.
- Installing and terminating racks, cable trays, patch panels, cabinets, MDF/IDF, workstation outlets, firestopping etc.
- Reading and interpreting general system layouts from blueprints and/or Facility Maps.
- Installing devices and/or various types of related equipment according to specifications.
- Maintaining PPE, tools and equipment to ensure optimal operating conditions.
- OSHA10, OSHA30, Lift, and Manufacturer Certifications are a plus, and considered in pay rate.
- Determining if additional electrical assistance is required.
- Testing accuracy, functionality and performance following system installations.
**Requirements**:
- High school diploma.
- Proven experience as a Low Voltage Technician.
- Strong understanding of low voltage systems, including wiring, IP addressing etc.
- Familiarity with relevant tools, equipment, and techniques used in low voltage installations and repairs.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in dynamic environments.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record. (Passport a Plus)
- Ability to travel to jobsites and stay overnight at the location of the installation.
- The ability to work safely at elevated heights when installing wiring and equipment.
- Physical stamina when standing or kneeling for extended periods of time.
- Willingness to train on company-specific technical equipment.
- Ability to pass pre-employment requirements. We are a Drug Free Workplace
