**Assistant Administrator**
**Position Summary**
A well-established drug/vitamin products contract manufacturing company in Placentia is looking to fill a position in its HR and Finance department. The individual will be responsible for performing and documenting office transactions, interacting with customers and vendors, ordering supplies, organizing and maintaining files, and overseeing employee attendance and payroll processing. We offer health, dental, and life insurance, Pretax IRA with matching company contribution, paid holidays, paid sick and personal time off.
**EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE**
- High school diploma; some college work desirable
- Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting system in a business environment required
**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Fluency in written/spoken English
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; must be able to interact effectively with staff, customers, and vendors
- Strong computer skills, including working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel; experience with QuickBooks or similar system necessary
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Self-motivated; disciplined work habits, including ability to work independently, follow through with assignments to completion, and provide accurate/timely feedback
- Credible, punctual, dependable
- Spanish speaker is a plus
**TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Perform and document Accounts Receivable activities, including preparing invoices, processing payments, and following up on past-due accounts.
- Monitor office supply inventory and reorder as needed.
- Monitor employee attendance: provide information to payroll vendor on a bi-weekly basis to ensure that payroll is processed on time.
- Issuing and archiving controlled documents.
- Perform other functions and duties as necessary.
