Summary

We are looking for a talented and self-motivated media manager with focused video editing experience and a passion for digital storytelling to develop clear and compelling visual media serving our internal and external communications efforts. Experienced in multi-media production for both short-form as well as long-form videos, the Visual Media Specialist III will be responsible for leading the creation of product videos, engineering demos, branding campaigns, and digital advertisements. Occasionally, this position may require hands-on media capture and production at various locations, assisting small production crews.

Reporting to the Art Director and Creative Director, the Visual Media Specialist III will be working closely with 3D artists, graphic designers, media vendors, and other marketing and design specialists to produce quality media content in a quick-paced, creative marketing environment. This key creative marketing position will take a lead role in generating novel multi-media assets, exploring innovative techniques, and pushing the evolution of our brand language. The Visual Media Specialist III will also be responsible for managing multi-media vendors, contractors, and 3rd party resources.

Position Responsibilities:
- Own the development and execution of short and long form video/mixed media content for use in a variety of marketing channels- Oversee pre-production, production and post-production processes for developing content- Manage multiple creative project requests from inception to completion, delegating tasks to team specialists, overseeing execution and distribution- Collaborate with key stakeholders to make well-informed, creative decisions- Responsible for communicating production challenges, keeping stakeholders informed and identifying avenues to overcome obstacles- Lead videography/photography on location for production shoots and demos- Familiarize with company by organizing an anthology of past video work- Manage internal and external resources. Identify, negotiate and book external resources, as needed- Ensure all clients' needs are heard, understood and addressed in a timely manner. Providing clear client communications regarding roles and responsibilities, scope, budget, schedules, and status/action items- Manage the organization and maintenance of our media style guide and video asset library- Lead evolution of asset aesthetics and build-out of media templates- Attend & present weekly project status meetings- Incorporate mixed media trends, including motion graphics and graphic design into video productions- Open to feedback and providing criticism to ensure the creative marketing team continues growing and improving

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills & Experience):
- Bachelor degree is required or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience- 8 years of video editing experience on Mac with Adobe Premiere

Other Qualifications & Desired Competencies:
- Ability to lead the management of production shoots and independently execute video projects- Extensive knowledge of lighting setups and recording sound- Motion Graphics experience a plus-
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills- Pro-active attitude; seeking and disseminating information, solutions-oriented- Attention to detail- Ability to multi-task, organize, and collaborate- Ability to work in a high-pressure environment

Physical Demands:
- Able to work in an office environment (Constant)- Able to carry and move various production equipment and video/photography gear up to 25 lbs. (Occasional)- Required to, stand, sit; talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone keyboard (Frequent)

- U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (Green Card holder) or _asylee/refugee status as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3) required._- Ability to travel to demonstrations, events, trade shows, and other activations (up to 15%)- Flexible work schedule and overtime may be required periodically- Preferably located within 50 miles of the Moorpark/Simi Valley offices

The salary range for this role is:
$108,275 - $153,615
