At the Youth Service Bureau (YSB), we work hard to make kids matter every day We are a non-profit organization that has Residential, Family, and Community Based programs for children and families.
We are searching for a **Part-Time Facilities Manager** to service our YSB properties. The facilities manager ensures that general maintenance and preventative maintenance tasks are completed in a timely fashion to ensure a safe, comfortable and welcoming environment.
**Responsibilities**:
1.Maintains exterior of the YSB main office located at 325 West Aaron Drive. Duties include general yard work, policing of parking lot and lawns, maintaining clear gutters, and annual cleaning of building and windows.
2.Maintains interior of the main office. Duties include routine, scheduled, and preventative maintenance & assessment of any needs to procure specialized labor. Trash removal, recycling management and removal of unused food donations are examples of routine tasks.
3.When specialized labor is needed, procures related bids and oversees work.
4.Tends to urgent maintenance needs at other YSB properties as assigned.
5.Conducts walk-through reviews of other YSB properties at assigned, identifying and responding to identified maintenance needs.
6.Maintains all maintenance supplies for the main office, ensuring that we always have adequate stock.
7.Together with the executive team, develops and maintains a facilities’ plan which projects maintenance needs into the 3-5 year future.
8.Supervises volunteer groups to complete maintenance projects as assigned.
**Qualifications**
- Position requires experience maintaining buildings and grounds and the ability to work independently.
- Job requires current driver’s license and ability to drive own vehicle to and from programs.
**Salary**
$15-18/hour
