**Job Overview**:
Safety Supervisor will be required to assist management with implementing the company's Safety program to comply with federal, state, and local government regulations and corporate Safety Policy. Will play a vital role in implementing safety programs, conducting training, and fostering a culture of safety awareness.

**Supervisory Responsibilities**:

- Will play a vital role in implementing safety programs, conducting training, and fostering a culture of safety awareness.
- Monitor, educate, and enforce compliance with employees on company policies and procedures, safety regulations, safe working practices and procedures, appropriate training programs, and emergency procedures.
- Preform workplace safety audits to help identify and address potential safety hazards and system weakness and submit documented findings and outcomes to the company's supervision and management team.
- Gather, analyze statistics, and share results throughout the company.
- Participate in the company's investigation process. This to include immediate incident notification to management team, assist with the preparation and submittal of incident reports in accordance with company procedures and applicable regulatory requirements and the participation in the company's incident review process.
- Assist and follow the company's medical management process.
- Conduct safety meetings.
- Conduct necessary training as needed to meet regulatory compliance requirements.
- Participates in the company's Pre-Job Hazard Analysis process. This to include reviewing, editing, and updating

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Conduct and document continuous jobsite and work area inspections.
- Stop at once any non-compliant conditions or at-risk behaviors.
- Ensure follow up/closure of deficient items identified during jobsite/work area inspections.
- Render basic first aid when necessary.
- Perform monthly inspections of safety equipment (company owned fire extinguishers, eye wash stations, monitors, etc.)
- Assist in incident investigations and basic field level incident management.
- Represent Bragg Companies at Client sponsored safety meetings and forums.
- At the direction of the Director of Safety, implement Client/company driven safety initiatives at the field level.
- Assist in the administration of the site substance abuse screening program.
- Serve as initial point of contact for company and client field personnel.
- Administer/present craft safety training.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Corporate Safety Director.

**Required Skills/Abilities**:

- Knowledge of current company safety policies and applicable Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards.
- Ability to lead, motivate, and influence others to achieve the health and safety objectives of the company.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Demonstrate Honesty, Consistency and Passion at all times.
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
- Ability to travel and pay for travel expenses. Traveling receipts would be submitted for reimbursement.
- Ability to conduct training.

**Education and Experience**:

- High school diploma, or GED** (required)**:

- Five (5) or more years of full-time experience as a safety professional in heavy construction **(required)**:

- Certifications in occupational health and safety will be weighted along with formalized education; STS-C or greater strongly preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to use computer systems, software, and to conduct complex analysis on relevant issues
- Experience and/or extensive technical training in crane operations/rigging and structural steel erection preferred.
- Ability to obtain security clearance for work on active US Government installations.
- Possession of a valid driver’s license.

**Physical Requirements**:

- Ability to sit, stand, crawl, walk and climb up to 12 hours/day
- Capacity to work varied shifts (including nights or split shifts, based on operational needs)
- Ability to work at heights while utilizing fall protection equipment
- Lift up to 30 lbs
- Must be able to pass initial and random drug testing.
- Due to safety regulations you must be 25 to apply.
