**TITLE**:
**Fundraising Event Coordinator**

**SUMMARY OF POSITION**:
Under the direction of the Chief Executive Officer, this employee is responsible for the implementation of a wide range of annual giving and special event fundraising activities for VCS Inc. Coordinates donor relations and communications, including drafting appeal solicitation letters and maintaining all charitable giving reports. Manages a portfolio of relationships to cultivate new donors and steward current donors in an effort to increase giving. Works collaboratively with all volunteers, donors, and internal departments. Manages special events and projects. Serves as content expert for donor database and analyzes giving data and trends. Coordinates and contributes to the identification and cultivation of individual, corporate and foundation donors.

$45,000.00 to $55,000.00

**REPORTS TO**:
CEO/Executive Director

**DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Main point of contact for all inquiries related to VCS fundraising and awareness; Work with all fundraisers to ensure that events and campaigns are successful and reflect the organization’s mission and values.
- Manage the Annual Gala and other fundraising programs. Responsibilities include location management, coordinating outreach, registration, sponsorship, volunteers, and fundraising efforts, manage all communications, materials, logistics, and day-of event needs for each event.
- Manage fundraising software and ensure that the software.
- Assist the CEO/Executive Director with Board-related tasks and special tasks surrounding fundraising, awareness, and community engagement. Plan and execute a series of fundraising events, meetings and conferences, delivering a white glove service to speakers, attendees, and clients.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Bachelor’s degree along with 5 years of experience.
- Exemplary customer service skills
- Experience managing events and/or coordinating fundraising efforts strongly preferred
- Highly organized and detail oriented with excellent time management skills
- Flexible, team player who is service oriented with high-level interpersonal skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication, including phone and editing skills
- Sound judgment, integrity, and respect for confidentiality are absolute requirements
- Ability to effectively interact and collaborate with all levels of co-workers, including assistants, staff, and senior management
- Advanced computer skills including proficiency with MS Office and strong aptitude to learn other software systems
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment
- Complete multiple tasks and manage a high volume of competing priorities across projects

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
