Construction Estimator

Tiello has partnered with a highly reputable **Commercial General Contractor Company** in the **Greater Boston Area** on their search for a **Construction Estimator to join their Building Services division**. We're looking for a motivated and collaborative individual to play a key role in construction projects, providing accurate cost estimates and ensuring financial feasibility. As part of the team, you'll report directly to division leaders, making a significant contribution to the company's growth strategy.

**Job Title: Construction Estimator**

**Project Types: Cleanroom/ Laboratory, Retail Store, Warehousing, Hospitals/ Healthcare, Commercial Office**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Source quotes from subcontractors and vendors using bid management software.
- Evaluate project plans and RFP requirements.
- Finalize proposals using internal bidding system.
- Maintain positive relationships with subcontractors and clients.
- Develop detailed work descriptions for subcontractor quotes.
- Present final bids for Senior Management approval.
- Ensure subcontractor participation through regular communication.
- Collaborate with Project Team to review bid proposals.
- Assemble final bid packages, meeting all RFP elements.
- Submit all bids within set deadlines.
- Arrange transition meetings for awarded projects.
- Follow up on submitted bids with clients, architects, or construction managers.
- Inform subcontractors about unsecured projects.
- Discuss project details with project team.
- Provide ongoing support, assisting with change orders and resource sourcing.

**Qualifications**:

- 3+ years of construction estimating experience.
- Ability to work in diverse conditions and complete a variety of tasks.
- Proficiency in SAGE Construction Management Software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Pay: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
