**_What Are We Looking For:_**

Cox Engineering is looking for an experienced **Director of Process Piping**. As Director, you will report to the COO and be charged with building and growing a Process Piping Division, you will play a pivotal role in establishing and expanding the company’s presence in the process piping market. Your primary responsibility will be to lead and manage all aspects of the division’s operations, including business development, project management, team leadership, and client relationship management. This position requires a strong background in process piping, along with exceptional leadership, strategic planning, and business development skills.

**_Responsibilities:_**
- **Division Establishment**: develop and execute a comprehensive strategy to establish and grow the Process Piping Division within Cox Engineering.
- Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the process piping market, including networking, prospecting, lead generation, and proposal preparation.
- **Client Relationship Management**: Build and maintain strong relationships with exiting and potential clients, understanding their needs, and providing tailored solutions to meet their requirements.
- **Project Management**: Oversee the planning, execution, and successful completion of the process piping projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and manage a high-preforming team of project managers, engineers, estimators, and field personnel, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented work environment.
- **Resource Allocation**: Optimize resource allocation, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to ensure efficient project execution and maximize profitability.
- Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, regulations, and company policies, and implement quality control measures to deliver exceptional workmanship.
- **Financial Management**: Collaborate with the finance team to develop and monitor project budgets, cost estimates, and financial projections, ensuring profitability and cost control.
- **Safety Culture**: Promote and enforce a strong safety culture, implementing and maintaining safety protocols and procedures to safeguard the well-being of employees and project stakeholders.
- **Continuous Improvement**: Identify opportunities for process improvement, operational efficiency, and innovation, and implement strategies to enhance division performance and profitability.

**_Requirements:_**
- **Experience**: Minimum of 10 years of experience in process piping, including project management and business development, within the mechanical contracting industry.
- **Process Piping Expertise**: In-depth knowledge of process piping systems, industry standards, codes, and regulations. Experience in cGMP Facilities is preferred.
- **Leadership Skills**: Proven track record of successfully leading and managing teams, with the ability to motivate, mentor, and develop employees.
- **Business Development**: Strong business acumen and experience in identifying and securing new clients and projects in the process piping market.
- **Project Management**: Demonstrated proficiency in project management methodologies, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- **Client Relationship Management**: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- **Financial Acumen**: Solid understanding of financial management, including budgeting, cost control, and profitability analysis.
- **Safety Focus**: Commitment to promoting and enforcing safety protocols and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
- **Certifications**: Relevant certifications such as Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Construction Manager (CCM) are highly desirable.
