Injection Mold Operator

**JOB SUMMARY **The Injection Mold Operator sets up and operates machine tools, barrel
- heater/ thermo-oil device, resin temperature equipment and components to specification on a production basis. Ensures work is performed ethically while achieving the objectives stated in the Company Quality Policy. Ensures work is completed efficiently and adequately while following company safety policies and procedures. Performs other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Set up machines to the Manufacturing Set-Up Specifications and submit first article pieces to QA. Load resin material, load Injection Mold program, and install assigned cavity insert tooling, begin running machine to produce first article inspection pieces
- Inspect and measure produced pieces using inspection equipment to verify a blue print
- Monitor all temperature devices while running a machine
- Follow standard operating procedures for completing each work order and prepare for next set-up per work instructions.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area. Ensure all moving and sliding machine equipment is lubricated and free from any hazards

and the work station is uncluttered
- Comply with all company policies and procedures
- Adhere to department expectations. Meet/exceed department performance expectations such as throughput, productivity, quality, and safety

**JOB REQUIREMENTS**

**EDUCATION & CERTIFICATIONS**:No educational requirements but is highly preferred.

**EXPERIENCE**:At least six months' experience.

**SKILLS REQUIRED**

- Mathematical skills

**- **Communication skills

**- **Reasoning skills (troubleshooting)

**- **Computer skills

**- **Analytical skills (troubleshooting)

*Analytical and reasoning skills are beneficial when troubleshooting nonconformance issues and/or machine accessory issues

Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
