Position: Molding Set-Up Technician
Job Objective:
The primary responsibility is to configure plastic injection molding machines and associated auxiliary equipment according to specifications provided by Engineering. The role also involves troubleshooting process-related issues as they arise and providing support to the supervision of production personnel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize hoisting equipment to install and remove tooling from injection molding machines.
- Configure molding machines and related equipment to established specifications to manufacture required components.
- Arrange all necessary tools and equipment into an ergonomic workstation for efficiency.
- Operate injection molding machines to comply with quality standards.
- Diagnose machine issues employing scientific molding techniques.
- Possess basic computer skills for operational tasks.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the department as necessary.
- Assist in other departments as required.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned.
- Prior experience and knowledge of injection molding machinery is preferred.
- Technical School training is advantageous.
- Familiarity with Sanmina systems and prior experience within the company is a plus.
