Assisted Living Manager

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Assisted Living Manager to join our team. We are a 16 bed facility that provides Assisted Living and Memory Care. As an Assisted Living Manager, you will be responsible for providing personalized care and assistance to our residents in a safe and supportive environment. Your role will involve the daily management of an assisted living facility, as well as, assisting with daily activities, promoting independence, and ensuring the well-being of our residents.
**Experience**:
To be successful in this role, you should have the following skills and qualifications:
- Knowledge of resident rights and the ability to advocate for their needs
- Experience managing the care of seniors in an assisted living or memory care setting
- Familiarity with financial acumen related to senior care services
- Understanding of social work principles and practices
- Ability to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Collaboration with nurses and other healthcare professionals
- Experience with budgeting and managing resources effectively
Additional Qualifications:
In small communities (defined by the state as facilities with 16 beds and less), the manager must have proof of graduation from an accredited high school or certification of equivalency of graduation. In large communities (defined by the state as facilities with 17 beds and more), a manager must have:
- An associate's degree in nursing, health care management, or a related field;
- A bachelor's degree; or
- Proof of graduation from an accredited high school or certification of equivalency of graduation and at least one year of experience working in management or in health care industry management.
In an Alzheimer's Certified community, the manager must be 21 years of age, and have:
- An associate's degree in nursing, health care management;
- A bachelor's degree in psychology, gerontology, nursing, or a related field; or
- Proof of graduation from an accredited high school or certification of equivalency of graduation and at least one year of experience working with persons with dementia.

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
