Qualifications & Responsibilities:

- Experience in Engineering or Architectural Design
- Able to read architectural and structural drawings
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Prepare set of drawings for customer and architect s approval
- Prepare fabrication drawing for manufacturing of product
- Revise drawings by incorporating mark ups

Full Description:
Job Description Requirements & Competencies Experience in Engineering or Architectural Design. Proficient in Computer Aided Design and Drafting. Strong attention to detail. Able to read architectural and structural drawings. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Skilled in different drafting programs: Vectorworks, SketchUp, Adobe, AutoCad, 3ds Max. Summary: Responsible for preparing shop drawings to be used for approval, construction, and fabrication drawings for local Meeting and Event Production company’s scenic and trade show division. Essential Functions: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

1. Use Computer Aided Design and Drafting system to prepare drawings and custom designs.

2. Prepare set of drawings for customer and Scene Shop Manager’s approval.

3. Prepare fabrication drawing for manufacturing of products.

4. Revise drawing by incorporating mark ups.

5. Collaborate with Engineering, Customer Service and Production Control to ensure documents are accurate.

6. Draft technical detail with dimensions.

7. Create room layouts for meeting and event spaces.

8. All other duties as assigned.

- The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This is largely a sedentary role. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bending or standing on a stool as necessary. While performing the duties of this job, the employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts. If they use the CNC, they will have to be able to move sheet goods up to 5’x10’ and small parts associated with the machine.
