**What You’ll Do**:As a Pain Management Medical Assistant at Pro-Care Medical Center, you will play a vital role in supporting patient care delivery in our pain management department. Working closely with our healthcare providers, you'll assist in administering therapeutic treatments while ensuring patient comfort and safety. Your responsibilities will encompass maintaining the treatment area, preparing patients for procedures, and providing essential administrative support to ensure seamless patient care.

**A Day In the Life of a Pro-Care Pain Management Medical Assistant**:

- Assist with patient prep under the supervision of healthcare providers.
- Prepare patients for pain management procedures under fluoroscopy by providing comfort and assistance.
- Address patient inquiries and concerns, providing reassurance and information as needed.
- Provide instructions to patients for in-clinic and at-home pain management care.
- Educate patients on proper equipment usage and exercise routines to manage pain.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of treatment areas and equipment.
- Collaborate with the clinical team to enhance patient care and operational efficiency.

- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients and colleagues.

- Ability to effectively teach and guide patients through pain management protocols.

- Familiarity with medical terminology and proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMRs) for patient care.

**Compensation and Benefits**:

- Hourly rate, typically ranging between $19-22/hour.
- Health insurance coverage available after 90 days of employment.
- Benefit days, including vacation and paid holidays, provided after 90 days.

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
