**About the Role**:
The Program Director plays a pivotal role in ensuring the excellence of our Diagnostic Medical Sonography program. You'll oversee the daily operations, manage and mentor faculty, and ensure our students achieve high academic standards and clinical competencies.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Program Management**:

- Ensure compliance with ABHES, CAAHEP, and other accrediting bodies
- Implement and evaluate curriculum and instructional changes
- Foster positive student and clinical site feedback
- Lead program advisory board meetings and improvement committees

**Faculty Management**:

- Provide in-service education and professional development for instructors
- Hire, evaluate, and mentor faculty to enhance teaching effectiveness
- Conduct regular faculty meetings to address program issues

**Student & Clinical Site Management**:

- Address and resolve student academic and program concerns
- Develop and monitor remedial plans for student success
- Manage clinical coordinators and ensure smooth clinical placements
- Oversee Exit Exam review courses and monitor student progress

**Instruction**:

- May teach courses as assigned, maintaining high instructional standards

**Required Qualifications**:

- Current certification in Diagnostic Medical Sonography (Abdomen, OB/GYN)
- Bachelor’s degree
- At least 3 years of experience as a registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer
- Minimum of 3 years of instructional experience
- Graduation from an accredited program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
