Catering Sales Coordinator

**PRIMARY JOB FUNCTIONS**
- Responsible for maintaining the daily calendar of eventsin EZPlanit.
- Responsible for clerical functions and administrative support to the DOC (Director of Catering).
- Responsible for ensuring all supporting departments receive all necessary paperwork (i.e. BEO, floor plans, distro., etc.)
- Develop and create sales strategies to attract new clients.
- Process client electronic payments
- Maintain the various Sales file systems, both electronic and (mínimal) paper, including Account Files, RFP channels and master documents.
- Responsible for overseeing the successful completion of special projects requiring out-sourced vendors.
- In the absence of the Catering Sales Director, assists clients immediately on solutions to client requests in a friendly, caring, and helpful manner.

**Other duties include, but are not limited to**:

- Order specialty items as it relates to an event.
- Create banquet event orders, following up with clients.
- Complete distribution of Event correspondence to the operation team as required.
- Participate in scheduled departmental and administrative meetings as requested.
- Responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with clients and vendors.
- Assists with other duties and projects as assigned by the DOC.
- Present on the floor during Social/Gala events.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:
**Education**: High School Diploma.

**Other Requirements**:
Excellent reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English Language

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Ability to multitask.
- Excellent time management skills
- Must be courteous and gracious, always maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, has high energy and enjoys working with people.
- Must be positive, result oriented and able to work well under pressure and guidelines.
- Must be able to work well with a diverse group of team members, including Managers, banquet staff, department heads and supervisors
- Expertise in Microsoft Office, Internet and Outlook required - EZPlanit, Salesforce and Ungerboeck/Momentus experience a plus.
- Work well under pressure, be a team player.

Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

- No travel
