Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Chef at Cynthia Brooks Distinctive Catering located in Pasadena, CA. The Chef will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day culinary operations, including menu planning, food preparation, cooking, and ensuring high-quality and consistently delicious meals. The Chef will collaborate with the team to develop new menu items, maintain kitchen cleanliness and safety standards, and provide guidance and training to kitchen staff.

 

Qualifications

  • Strong culinary skills in menu planning, food preparation, and cooking
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Experience in a high-volume catering or restaurant environment
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet strict deadlines
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate efficiently
  • Flexibility to work weekends and evenings as required
  • Previous experience in catering or hotel industry is a must
