**Title**: Digital Sales and Project Manager

**Basic Function**: This position will be responsible for selling digital products to key accounts, coordinating interdepartmental communication, training of staff, and working with management to develop the overall business plan for digital products at Tyndale House Publishers.

**Reports to**: COO during development phase after to be determined

**Responsibilities**:

- Planning and coordination with publishing and sales teams with frontlist priorities including backlist deals for the same author, seasonal priorities, and other channel opportunities.
- Develop creative promotional ideas and custom product ideas that help drive sales and generate revenue.
- Achieve revenue and profit goals for assigned accounts.
- Working internally with publishing to bring marketing and collaborative support to accounts and products.
- Provide analysis, input, and feedback on all matters related to accounts selling digital products, including but not limited to:

- Sales forecasts through evaluation of new book proposals
- Provide publishers with accurate updates after sales calls and during New Release meetings.
- Promotional opportunities for all assigned accounts
- Sell through data.
- Develop and maintain productive relationships with all key account stakeholders.
- Actively participate in internal meetings with the publishing/marketing groups to provide market feedback.
- Effectively manage assigned expense budgets
- Provide education on the format options and opportunities in the marketplace.
- Participate in contract negotiation with new selling opportunities.
- The internal team will be managing the buyback process of current licensed titles to build direct catalog over the next five years. This position may play a role.
- Work with COO on pricing revisions and trends in the marketplace.
- Participate in new product presentation meetings three times per year.

**Qualifications**

The ideal applicant will be someone with a background in selling to digital accounts in the publishing industry, excellent follow-through skills, and the ability to sell and support a wide range of product groups including (but not limited to) Religious and General Trade Fiction and Nonfiction, Bible & Bible Reference, Business books and Children’s books in multiple digital formats.

Work Experience:

- 5 years of successful publishing sales.
- Bachelor’s degree in business/marketing or equivalent work experience preferred.

Industry Knowledge:

- Familiarity with ebook and audiobook sales channels
- Understanding of basic business and retail finance
- Knowledge of publishing

Ability to sign Tyndale’s Statement of Faith required.
