As a Restaurant Server at Chat Genie Café, you will be responsible for providing excellent service to our guests, ensuring a positive dining experience from start to finish. Your main responsibilities will include:

- Greeting guests warmly as they arrive, guiding them to their tables, and providing menus.
- Taking orders accurately and efficiently, answering questions about menu items, and making recommendations.
- Serving food and beverages promptly and accurately, ensuring all orders are delivered correctly and in a timely manner.
- Checking back with guests to ensure satisfaction, addressing any concerns or special requests.
- Monitoring the dining area and assisting with clearing and resetting tables as needed.
- Processing payments accurately and efficiently, handling cash and credit card transactions.
- Collaborating with kitchen and other café staff to ensure smooth operations and timely service.
- Providing exceptional customer service by anticipating guests' needs and providing personalized attention.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience as a server in a restaurant or café setting preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and outgoing demeanor.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift and carry trays of dishes.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Knowledge of coffee and café menu items preferred but not required.
- Certification in food handling or willingness to obtain certification upon hire.
- Enthusiasm for providing exceptional customer service and creating memorable experiences for guests.
- Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure, especially during busy periods.
