**Job Description: Part-Time Sports Instructor**

**Position**: Sports Instructor (Summer Part-Time)

**Age Group**: Kids aged 5-10 years old

**Schedule**: Monday to Friday, 1.5 hours daily

**Location**: Newark CA

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Plan and conduct daily sports sessions, ensuring activities are age-appropriate and engaging.
- Foster a safe and inclusive environment for all participants.
- Encourage teamwork, sportsmanship, and the development of physical skills.
- Adapt activities to meet the varying needs and abilities of the children.
- Monitor and ensure the safety of all participants during activities.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about their children's progress and any concerns.
- Collaborate with other team members to create a cohesive and supportive environment.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in sports instruction or coaching, particularly with children aged 5-10.
- Strong knowledge of one or more sports and the ability to teach fundamental skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, enthusiasm, and a passion for working with children.
- Ability to work as part of a team and collaborate effectively with colleagues.
- CPR and First Aid certification (preferred but not required).

**Requirements**:

- Must be available to work Monday to Friday for 1.5 hours each day during the summer.
- Written references are required to demonstrate previous experience and qualifications.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $29.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 2 - 8 per week
