We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Front of House Manager to oversee the daily operations of our restaurant. The Front of House Manager will be responsible for ensuring excellent customer service, managing the dining area, and supervising the front of house staff. This is a key leadership role that requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences.
**Duties**:
- Supervise and train front of house staff, including hosts/hostesses, servers, and bartenders
- Ensure smooth operations in the dining area, including seating arrangements, table turnover, and customer flow
- Monitor customer satisfaction and address any issues or concerns in a timely manner
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure efficient food production and timely delivery of orders
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the front of house area, including tables, chairs, and restrooms
- Oversee inventory management for front of house supplies, such as menus, napkins, and condiments
- Implement and enforce food safety standards and procedures
- Assist with scheduling shifts and managing labor costs
- Handle customer inquiries, reservations, and complaints with professionalism and courtesy
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in hospitality management
**Requirements**:
- Previous experience as a Front of House Manager or Assistant Manager in a restaurant setting
- Strong knowledge of food service management principles and practices
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Proficient in using POS systems for order processing and payment transactions
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and procedures
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations calmly and effectively
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure under pressure
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
