**Role**: DJ/MC

**Job Type**: Hourly, Part-Time

**DJ/MC Job Description**: An RC Productions DJ/MC primarily performs at weddings (ceremonies and receptions), schools, corporate events and private parties throughout the Milwaukee area and beyond. Our DJs are on site between 7-10 hours for weddings, and varying hours for other private events. Our DJs must have a wide range of music knowledge and technical ability to keep a packed dance floor. Prior to the performance day, our DJs work intensely with an event lead to ensure clear and consistent communication is made with the client. DJs are required to meet with their clients and the event lead at least two times prior to the event day for planning purposes. The meetings will be organized by the event lead. Your role is not only DJ and MC but brand ambassador for RC Productions. As such, you must uphold our code of conduct and company values at all times. After thorough training, on the day of the event, our DJs are responsible for the full set up and tear down of equipment, as well as communication with the client(s).

**Responsibilities**
- Produce excellent entertainment for all clients through RC Productions’ DJ techniques
- Use a classy yet energizing MC style to facilitate all announcements throughout the event
- Maintain a professional, friendly appearance and demeanor at all times
- Must be on time to every event
- Must be able to effectively communicate with event leads and clients
- Ensure proper care and handling of company equipment
- Maintain an updated working knowledge of all services we offer
- Keep track of your availability to work and maintain your calendar for all client meetings and events
- Attend all paid training provided by RC Productions
- Be willing to apprentice under our current event leads until feedback indicates your readiness to perform events independently
- Other duties as assigned

**Knowledge, Skill and Experience Required**:

- Think critically and solve problems quickly to the benefit of our clients
- Must possess quality judgment skills and ability to proactively troubleshoot issues
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Must have your own means of transportation
- Positive, outgoing, and charismatic energy and personality
- Must be able to lift more than 50 lbs
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time and be able to bend and reach overhead
