**Position Overview**:
**Responsibilities**:
Leadership and Strategy:
- Contribute to the development and implementation of a comprehensive strategic plan aligned with the organization's mission and financial goals.
- Provide visionary leadership, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
**Fundraising and Resource Development**:
- Lead fundraising efforts, grant writing, and organizational initiatives cultivating relationships with donors, sponsors, and partners.
- Develop and execute strategies to secure financial support aligning fundraising efforts with the startup's mission and growth objectives.
- Operational Management:
- Jointly with the executive team, ensure efficient and effective organizational functioning.
- Collaborate with the President and Board of Directors to ensure compliance with policies and ethical standards.
**Program Development and Impact**:
- Actively contribute to the development and enhancement of programs aligned with the organization's mission.
- Establish metrics to measure program effectiveness and impact, regularly reporting to donors and other stakeholders.
- Implement donor stewardship programs to recognize and retain contributors.
- Ensure a thoughtful, customized, and optimum donor experience. Community Engagement:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, community leaders, partners, and government agencies.
- Represent the organization at public events, conferences, and forums to enhance visibility and influence.
**Team Building and Development**:
- Contribute to recruiting and developing a high-performing team, fostering a positive, innovative, and collaborative work environment.
- Provide mentorship and support to staff, encouraging professional growth and skill development.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Proficient and highly engaged in utilizing social media platforms and navigating online tools.
- Full proficiency in English, and preferably Spanish.
- Minimum four (4) years of proven management and grant writing experience in the non-profit sector.
- Strong track record in fundraising, resource development, and financial management.
- Problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency using a constituent relationship management (CRM) system is a plus.
- Experience with USAID, bi-lateral, and multilateral funders is a plus.
- Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally.
