**Position Overview**:
The Fundraising Director is responsible for developing and managing the funding and revenue base of UPLIFT Youth Foundation. This includes focusing on a comprehensive fund development plan that identifies prospects, donors, and community partners. The Fundraising Director will ensure that all philanthropy and fund development activities align with the organization’s values, mission, vision, and strategic plans.

**Responsibilities**
- Develop and manage a comprehensive fund development plan to identify prospects, donors, and community partners.
- Ensure that all philanthropy and fund development activities align with the organization’s values, mission, vision, and strategic plans.
- Build and manage a robust major giving program for individuals and corporations.
- Serve as the lead of the Fundraising Committee, engaging board members and other volunteer members of the community.
- Oversee and direct UPLIFT’s social media presence and stakeholder communications.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with existing donors while actively seeking out and cultivating new donor prospects.
- Develop and execute strategies to increase donor retention rates and donor loyalty.
- Collaborate with staff to create funding proposals aligned with organizational priorities and donor interests.
- Research and identify potential grant opportunities from foundations, corporations, and government agencies.
- Monitor grant progress, reporting requirements, and deliverables to ensure timely and accurate submission of reports to funders.
- Develop and implement strategies for donor cultivation events, including donor appreciation events, fundraising galas, and other special events.
- Collaborate with the team to create fundraising materials, including print collateral, online campaigns, and donor appeals.
- Establish Customer Relations Management (CRM) systems to track donor interactions, manage donor relationships, and analyze fundraising data.
- Stay informed about trends and best practices in fundraising, and attend professional development opportunities and networking events as appropriate.

**Qualifications**
- Proven fundraising experience, with a track record of successful fund development and donor relations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Proficiency in using CRM systems and other fundraising software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Knowledge of grant writing and proposal development.
- Experience in planning and executing fundraising events.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Passion for the mission of UPLIFT Youth Foundation and commitment to youth mental wellness.
- Bachelor's degree in Nonprofit Management, Communications, Marketing, or a related field preferred.

**Location**:

- Hybrid role, based out of Orange County or San Diego County
- Mostly remote, with occasional travel to schools and community events in OC, SD, and LA counties.
- Requires attending some in-person team meetings in Orange County.

Pay: $66,560.00 per year

**Experience**:
