**Schedule**: M - F; 8a - 5p
**Location**: 1401 E 6th St, Austin, TX | Atlassian Office

Responsibilities include performing minor repairs, routine maintenance, daily inspections, and event setup and breakdown. Additionally, the role encompasses managing event logistics, creating a hospitable environment, maintaining food and beverage stations, and ensuring spaces function properly. Effective communication with the team and clients is crucial, alongside maintaining high standards for facility maintenance. Required skills include a positive attitude, excellent communication, multitasking, and basic maintenance abilities.

**Day to Day Responsibilities**:
Performs minor repairs and routine equipment maintenance, including patching and painting, hardware repairs, and other repairs as required

Performs routine daily inspections of assigned buildings and spaces

Responsible for providing facilities services and meeting & event assistance including: moving, setting up and striking furniture, décor, removable walls, and event equipment

Support Facility Manager and Facility Coordinator with day-of execution of meetings, conferences and events

Contribute to creating a customer focused environment consistent with Atlassian values and the WE team’s secret sauce “How WE Roll”

Demonstrate continuous effort to improve delivery and customer service levels

Work cooperatively and jointly with internal (departments) and external (vendors) contacts to provide quality customer service to staff

**Meeting & Events Technician Responsibilities**:
Assists with logistics, coordination and execution of events

Performs the duties associated with events, including staging rooms per the requested set-up plan in a timely manner, and resetting them to a normal state

Creates a hospitable environment for attendees, event owners, and vendors

Prepare, refresh and clear food and beverage stations

Performs daily meeting and conference room turnover and/or midday room refresh, reconfigurations and evening resets for indoor and outdoor spaces

Support the Concierge Manager & Workplace Manager if necessary to meet the need of partners, clients, and vendors

Escalates potential issues/concerns to management as appropriate

Responsible for post event storage and inventory of tables, chairs, and reporting of cleaning services needs

Conducts set up, refresh and removal of food, beverage, and service items

Completes room checks and ensures technical and visual spaces are functioning properly and reporting of AV services needs

Monitors and responds to event activities such as gathering event supplies, equipment needs, food & beverage services, facility security, AV, etc

**Facilities Responsibilities**:
Provides general and detailed maintenance (either with direct or indirect supervision), including patching, painting, hardware repairs, and other repairs as required

Completes all documentation for work performed via Jira Service Desk, and other records and documentation in a timely manner

Supporting facilities with managing vendors onsite

Liaising with building management as needed

Triage of workplace tickets accordingly

Performs routine facility and equipment maintenance

Performs routine daily inspections of assigned buildings and spaces.

Adhere to building WHS policies and procedures including emergency procedures

Follow all activity policies and procedures, including all HSSE related requirements at all times

Participate in all HSE related programs & activities as required, including incident investigations, interviews, auditing, and assessment, etc

**REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE**:
Ability to use basic carpentry, plumbing, painting, and custodial hand and electric powered tools

Ability to stoop, stand, climb, frequently lift a minimum of 50 lbs. of equipment (pumps, tools, ladders) and safely use devices

Support a positive team environment with a friendly and can do attitude

Ability to multitask while maintaining a positive outlook and proactive approach

Demonstrate the ability to make the customer feel that they are the only guest, and delivering an outstanding lasting impression

Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing

Sound computer skills including willingness to learn Atlassian software products and tools

Contribute to maintaining a safe and healthy workplace

First Aid Officer desired or willingness to be trained

Floor Fire Warden desired or willingness to be trained

Read, comprehend, and work from plans and operating instructions.

Detail orientation with a mindset towards meeting the JLL & Atlassian’s high standards for maintenance of facilities.

Demonstrated time management skills and multi-tasking.

Works independently with limited supervision or as part of a team
