Easy Tiger, one of Austins most beloved brands, is currently seeking a part-time Facilities Technician to join our team

The Facilities Technician is a key member of the Restaurant Team and is responsible for performing a variety of work including the maintenance and repair of the buildings, equipment and grounds.

Reports to: General Manager
Salary/Grade Level: Hourly / Non-Exempt

Essential Functions:
  • Inspects assigned areas on a routine basis and performs maintenance where necessary to keep facilities in functioning and serviceable condition
  • Perform or assists with special projects at each location
  • Performs or assists with general cleaning projects for equipment and general custodial maintenance
  • Perform or assist with painting projects as needed
  • Reports any major maintenance needs and recommends corrective action as appropriate. (This includes HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc.)
  • Other duties and tasks as assigned by General Manager

Qualifications:
  • 1 year previous maintenance experience preferred
  • Familiarity with HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems
  • Must be able to follow basic safety procedures and precautions due to physical risks
  • Demonstrates interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of 50+ lbs
  • Requires occasional stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling
  • Ability to work standing for 8+ hours
