**Essential Duties**
- Collaborate extensively with business analysts and end users in the development of reports and analyses
- Design solutions using tools such as User Databases, Alteryx, and Tableau
- Work with HTML, CSS and a scripting language such as JavaScript or Python
- Work with SQL server databases, relational databases, and multidimensional designs
- Coordinate with other information technology organizations including the central IT organization to ensure optimal use and efficiency of computer and related resources.
- Collaborate and team with others on a variety of technology and technology support projects.
- Develop and improve user systems procedures, and prepares systems documentation.
- Establish and maintain effective communications with customers, other technology specialists, and vendors about services.
- Assist in the development of long-range goals and short-range objectives.

**Minimum Qualifications**

Bachelor's degree in Computer Technology or related field AND two (2) years experience providing information technology services; OR, Six (6) years experience providing information technology services; OR, Any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved. Certificates from recognized programs that indicate mastery of tools and techniques relevant to the assignment may substitute for up to six months experience.

**Desired Qualifications**
- Knowledge of Human Resource practices and systems such as PeopleSoft HCM
- Knowledge of Financial Management Practices and systems such as Workday.
- Knowledge of types of data associated with Human Resource and Financial operations.
- Knowledge of types of data and processes associated with academic personnel.
- Knowledge of the types of data and processes associated with students for retention purposes.
- Experience in dashboard development using Tableau and Alteryx
- Experience working with HTML, CSS and a scripting language such as JavaScript or Python
- Demonstrated knowledge of SQL server databases, relational databases, and multidimensional designs preferred
- Knowledge of principles of Infrastructure as code, CICD, and version control tools (Git, Jenkins, Terraform)
- Knowledge of database concepts (MySQL, Postgres)
- Knowledge of project management standards and agile practices.
- JIRA experience strongly preferred.
- Experience in diagnosing issues in code and documenting the outcomes.
- Evidence of effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience in using software/system architecture diagrams and other forms of documentation.

**Working Environment**
- Frequent physical demands may include stooping, bending, crawling under/around objects, reaching, lifting and pushing objects of varying weights up to 50 pounds.
- Regularly required to work in cramped and enclosed areas and exposure to variations in temperature when deploying equipment.
- Regular review of completed tasks.
