Retail Systems Analyst

Vaco is working with a global retail client to support a major upgrade for their POS systems at over 6,000 locations across the country. We are looking for senior level experience to analyze and prepare for system migrations across all POS operations (NCR Radiant/Verifone). In this role you will determine user needs and requirements and recommend areas of improvement and serve as the primary point of contact between users and engineering/development staff. You will be tasked with documenting system issues and bottlenecks and work to translate business needs into formal technical deliverables.

We are looking to start interviews with our client next week with final interviews the week of May 27th due to client travel. If you have experience in the following areas, please reach out to a member of the Vaco team ASAP or apply today.
  • Strong preference to retail IT in last 5 years. 
    • POS side of IT
    • Dealing with payment processing issues, fuel pricing issues, price signs
  • Top tier support experience in the retail IT space
  • NCR Radiant experience preferred as majority of locations are running this. Secondary experience with Verifone. 
    • POS is NCR Radiant - handles all sales and payments engine
    • Use Verifone for axillary device - PIN pads, card readers, etc.
  • PDI is nice to have.
  • Strong background supporting large scale project deployments.
  • Experience in virtualized environments is a plus.
  • Focus will be on administration, system requirements, implementation and support of POS, payments, and fuel systems technology.
  • Role is not focused on network engineering or enterprise solutions - 100% focused in Retail IT locations across the country.
