**Receiving Coordinator**

Job Summary

The Receiving Coordinator will provide onsite leadership to ensure the receiving are meet safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives in a timely manner.

**Responsibilities**
- Review work orders and resolve issues with delivery dates and schedules.
- Effectively communicate with the Warehouse Manager.
- Ensure compliance with city and state regulations on weight, length, height, & width-issue permits as necessary.
- Communicate and track shipments issues to ensure proper feedback to the carriers.
- Assist with general and special transportation projects.
- Work cross-functionally with multiple teams and vendors across the business to provide excellent service.
- Supervise train and coach delivery drivers.
- Answer incoming telephone calls regarding pickup schedule and delivery.
- Prepares to address carrier and customer issues in a timely manner.
- Performs other duties and projects as required.
- Physically verify the count, quality, and BOL specifications for all incoming products.
- Conduct daily inspections of QA HOLD and samples areas.
- Prepares and submits on-time daily receiving logs per QA requirements.
- Maintains daily records of maintenance and usage of vehicles and program services.
- Actively work with management to improve the performance of the department.

- Manages current month end counting practices. Cycle counts RAW material (RAW cooler and freezer raw meat only).
- Communicate with planner of any samples which need to be produced.
- Pulls and inspects the products.
- Maintains rotation of sample products and products overrun.
- HPP verification, transfer, and receiving items from outside storage.
- Take care of returning items from customers and supplies.
- Develop strong working knowledge of shipping protocol/cross training.

**Requirements**:

- Proactive leader.
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Customer service experience is a plus.
- Basic computer skills, including excel.
- Valid commercial driver license (preferred)
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, supply chain, finance, or another related field (preferred).
- Individuals must be organized, neat, clean, and consistent.
- Able to work effectively with all functions on the plant, for example, warehouse, production,production planner, QA, maintenance, and finance.
- Able to provide constructive feedback to peers and departments.
- Strong verbal and written communications skills.
- Must be bilingual.
- Must be able to operate standard office equipment, i.e, scanner, copier, fax machine,
- calculator, etc.
- Must have a full understanding of inventory control, counting procedures, products, and movement.
- Must be able to communicate well in a professional manner, possess excellent phone skills, read, and understand written instructions.
- Active participation in work improvements process.
- Ability to work in a self-directed environment.

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
