**Job Summary**:
The Shipping and Receiving Clerk will be responsible for managing all incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of deliveries, and maintaining inventory records. This position will work on the 2nd shift.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Receive and process incoming shipments, verifying accuracy of contents and matching with purchase orders
- Prepare and package outgoing shipments, ensuring proper labeling and documentation
- Coordinate with carriers and freight forwarders to schedule pickups and deliveries
- Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular cycle counts
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks and containers
- Operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, in a safe and efficient manner
- Communicate with internal departments and external customers regarding shipment status and delivery schedules
- Ensure compliance with all safety and security procedures

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in shipping and receiving
- Experience with inventory management and cycle counting
- Ability to operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time

**Working Conditions**:
This position will work on the 2nd shift, which typically runs from 3:00pm to 11:00 pm. The Shipping and Receiving Clerk will work in a warehouse environment, which may include exposure to noise, dust, and other environmental factors. The position may require occasional overtime and weekend work.
