Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling the daily operations of shipping and receiving, ensuring the accurate and timely processing of incoming and outgoing shipments.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Receiving & Shipping

  • Unload and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.

  • Verify and record incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing lists.

  • Label and store received items in appropriate locations.

  • Prepare and pack outgoing shipments according to customer specifications.

  • Generate and affix shipping labels, ensuring correct documentation is included.

  • Coordinate with carriers and schedule pickups as needed.

  • Maintain accurate inventory records and report discrepancies.

  • Conduct regular cycle counts and assist in physical inventory audits.

  • Complete all necessary paperwork for receiving and shipping transactions.

  • Maintain accurate logs of incoming and outgoing shipments.

  • Communicate with other departments regarding shipment status and inventory needs.

  • Follow all company policies and procedures, including safety protocols.

  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.

  • Ensure compliance with all shipping regulations and company standards.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in shipping and receiving or related fields preferred.

  • Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment (certification is a plus).

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with shipping software.

  • Bilingual (english & spanish)

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
