We are seeking a Trademark Legal Specialist to support our attorneys in the Intellectual Property group’s trademark practice.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Oversee all aspects of trademark prosecution and litigation, ensuring exceptional client service.
- Proactively manage and direct trademark prosecution dockets, monitor and follow-up on dates using the ALT-Legal platform, and ensure timely responses from attorneys, clients, and management.
- Analyze, adopt, and use firm technology tools to enhance efficiency in all legal and non-legal processes.
- Assist with new matter opening and intake requests, including performing conflict checks.
- Prepare and file TTAB filings as needed.
- Provide billing and expense-related assistance, including routine billing inquiries, expense and invoice review.
- Arrange travel for attorneys as necessary.
- Handle recordation of assignments and name changes in the USPTO and internationally.
- Prepare and process outgoing correspondence via mail or fax, and arrange for specialized mail or messenger services.
- Draft and proofread correspondence, memos, and legal documents ensuring proper formatting, grammar, punctuation, and spelling.
- Manage data in integrated databases containing client and matter information, complying with firm policies and procedures.
- Answer and appropriately direct telephone calls for legal staff members.
- Manage scheduling of meetings, appointments, due dates, client-related activities, and case dates on electronic calendars for multiple legal staff members.
- Organize and maintain electronic and physical files within firm guidelines.
- Maintain positive relations with internal clients and co-workers, contributing to the self-directed team structure and assisting with overflow and specialized tasks.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Trademark Assistant preferred.
- Notary Public certification is a plus.
- High School diploma required.
- Experience with the ALT-Legal trademark docketing platform is a plus.
- Excellent clerical skills, including strong grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently and proactively.
- Intermediate or advanced experience using Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to perform all essential duties while maintaining strict confidentiality.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
