Medical Assistant

Dr. Sculpt is a medical spa provider seeking a Medical Assistant or Nurse in training for our Palm Desert location. We are seeking **ONLY **the most highly energetic, talented and ambitious team member for a part-time position. They should possess a commitment to excellent patient care, be a team player, detail oriented, and a passion for aesthetic medicine.
A positive attitude, high energy, & the ability to provide education in product/services are all vital qualities amongst others described. Willingness to learn, charismatic personality and posses the skills and enthusiasm to consult patients and provide excellent bedside manner.
**Description of Duties**
- Provide non-invasive treatments in accordance with practice protocols including: CoolSculpting, Medical Weight Loss, HydraFacials, IM Injections, etc.
- Conduct consultations with patients to determine best treatments for their desired outcome and create a treatment plan.
- Effectively inform and educate clients about specific wellness concerns.
- Provide follow-ups from treatments, consultations and phone calls.
- Set-up and assist Physician in treatments such as Botox, Resurfacing lasers, Venous treatments, FUE procedures., etc.
- Answer phones (must posses great phone etiquette), schedule appointments, check clients in, room patients and assist with front desk duties.
- Uphold the standards of sanitation and sterilization as directed by law and the practice's policies and procedures.
- Perform prep work, properly clean and restock rooms as required.
- Actively promote the treatments, services, and retail, as well as programs, promotions and/or discounts available.
- Cross promote all the services that the practice has to offer (skin care, body sculpting, lasers, weight-loss, etc.)
- Handle client questions and concerns professionally and courteously.
- Provide accurate, appropriate and immediate responses to all requests by clients.
- Maintain a positive attitude and contribute toward a quality work environment.
- Regularly attend, participate in and support training and staff meetings for the spa.
- Assist in all areas of practice operation as requested by management.
- Accurately record client treatments in EMR & EHR
- Familiarity with Processing Payments & Microsoft programs
- Mobile & Windows Knowledgeable
- Punctuality is required
- Must have reliable means of transportation
**Job Type**: Part-time
Pay: $19.00 - $24.00 per hour
