**Company Overview**:
The **Production Manager** position reports to the Director of Operations and is responsible for managing the entire production department including the people, process, and structure. They are ultimately responsible for ensuring we build and complete quality products on time effective and efficiency. High performers will be able set-up, re-organize, and focus on the development of continuous improvement.

**Job Duties**:

- Oversee production and manage assembly and testing operations to meet production schedule requirements
- Ensure production is cost-effective while machines are produced on time with high quality
- Provide continuous improvement processes in order to effectively manage growth
- Review planned orders for component availability and releases for manufacturing
- Work closely and maintain effective cooperation with operations team
- Regularly reviews non-conforming data and takes appropriate actions to address quality issues
- Identify areas for improvement and design procedural and/or physical solutions
- Assist production testers with a few unusual problems that they can’t easily diagnose
- Ensure a bill of material and work instruction due to a new part being used in a machine
- Ensure safety, efficiency, and 5S is implemented and maintained in production
- Manage KPI’s related to assembly, production flow and efficiency and increase effectiveness
- Establish a friendly, team-oriented environment and lead conflict-resolution within department
- Engage, motivate, and coach others

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- 3 years of experience in managing production
- Production experience in a small manufacturing environment preferred
- Proficiency in an ERP and Inventory Management System
- Being a team player is a requirement
- Strong ability to develop team to meet short and long-term goals
- A flexible work schedule; ability to work afterhours/weekends on an as needed basis
