**Crane Aerospace & Electronics **is seeking a dynamic **Engineering Co-op **in our **Central Lab **in **Burbank, CA **to join our high performing Landing Solutions Engineering Team.
**Purpose of Position**:
To assist ATE (Automated Test Equipment) Engineers to generate drawings, procurement supports, test software code review, and document review.
**Responsibility and Accountability**:
- Work in a team environment to assist Test Engineers.
- Contribute to Peer Reviews in checking assembly drawings, fabrication drawings and schematic. Adhere to formal processes and standards.
- Support part searching, quoting, and procuring.
- Support engineering dry run on test procedure.
- Support test software code review.
- Support drawing update, generate, and review.
- Take on special technical assignments as required.
**Minimum Requirements**:
- Taken courses in Electronic or other related Science/Engineering field (Electrical and Aerospace).
- A strong aptitude for analytical, problem solving, planning and organizational skills.
- Familiar with engineering drawings (SolidWorks) and schematics (Eagle or Altium).
- Must have knowledge in electronic circuits, typical of:
- Microcontroller/microprocessor
- Analog and digital discrete circuitry
- Programmable logic device
- Power supply circuitry
- Statistical and probabilistic techniques
- Good technical writing and verbal communication skills.
**Eligibility Requirement**:
- This position requires access to controlled data or information and therefore only US persons will be considered. As a US Department of Defense contractor we are bound by the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
