This position reports to the Senior Director of Human Resources in the New York Campus and operates with discretion within established guidelines. This position interacts with faculty, staff, and students. Also, interacts with various external federal, state, and local governments as needed.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
The HR Generalist is responsible for a wide variety of human resources activities for the institution across multiple human resource functions including but not limited to employee relations, equal opportunity, organizational development, talent management and acquisition, benefits, compensation, total rewards, and compliance monitoring. The HR Generalist has the knowledge and ability to perform all duties and responsibilities but is assigned duties in specific areas as the primary day-to-day tasks.

**REQUIREMENTS**:
Bachelor's degree and five years of experience related to the duties described above. Must have excellent customer service skills and be proficient in oral and written communications, exercise good judgment, must accept responsibility, and perform duties in an atmosphere of team-like cooperation. Excellent keyboarding and computer skills are required. Extensive experience with word processing and spreadsheet software. Must have the ability to work with minimum supervision.

**Annual Salary $75,000-$80,000**
