Disguised behind a meat locker door, the no-name speakeasy behind Bodega comes alive at night, serving up [major market name] best tequila and cocktails in an environment that brings the fabric of the community together artists and musicians, locals, and travelers alike for late night conversation, performances, and fun.

As a Kitchen Supervisor at Bodega Taqueria y Tequila, you will be responsible for supervising the kitchen operations to ensure that the team is following standard recipes, food safety and providing the highest level of food quality to our guests.

**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS**

Assign, in detail, specific duties to employees for the efficient operation of the kitchen.

Supervise kitchen staff in the proper preparation of menu items and presentation.

Assist Kitchen Manager in schedule kitchen staff so that proper coverage is maintained while keeping payroll costs in line.

Assist Kitchen Manager in proper receiving, storage (including temperature setting), and rotation of food products to comply with health department regulations.

Adhere to control procedures for cost and quality.

Adhere all kitchen staff follow food safety requirements.

**SUPPORTIVE FUNCTIONS**

In addition to performance of the essential functions, this position may be required to perform a combination of the following supportive functions, with the percentage of time performing each function to be solely determined by the manager based upon the particular requirements of the restaurant.

Prepare food according to standard recipes including line-work, prep-work and sanitation guidelines.

Support the daily operation by operating in each kitchen role as needed, deemed by the needs of the business.
