Dental Front Desk/treatment Coordinator

**About us**

We are a large growing private practice office with a tight nit team that works great together so we attract many new patients. We are a modern high tech office and we utilize Open Dental software to it's fullest potential to make the front office run efficiently. We are looking for someone who will provide concierge style service to our patients. We care about our patients and go above and beyond to make them feel comfortable. We even have two therapy pups to help our patients that may be dentally anxious

**Responsibilities**:

- Greet and check-in patients, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience
- Schedule and confirm appointments, coordinating with other departments as needed
- Collect and verify patient information, including insurance details
- Maintain patient records and ensure accuracy and confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations
- Provide excellent customer service and address patient inquiries or concerns
- Calculate copays and generate treatment plans utilizing the software. Send pre
- authorizations
- Collaborate with the treatment team to ensure smooth patient flow and efficient operations
- Utilize dental software for scheduling and record keeping
- Perform general administrative tasks such as answering calls, scanning, and data entry

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a medical or dental administrative support role preferred
- Strong knowledge of front desk operations, including appointment scheduling and insurance verification
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage patient records accurately
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain patient confidentiality
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of professionalism
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and handle unexpected situations

Pay: $40,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
