We’re looking for a User Experience Researcher to join our growing team of designers, researchers and strategists. In this role, you will connect dots across several teams and journeys; planning, preparing and executing impactful research and strategy to transform the way consumers access and utilize their health benefits. You will spend your time defining agent, payer, employer and consumer needs, identifying optimal strategies to drive growth and efficiency, and build trust with our customers.

**Primary Responsibilities**:

- Work directly with consumers, employers and customer service agents to define how a premium healthcare benefits experience looks and feels and translate those findings into actionable next steps for design, product and engineering
- Collaborate closely with engineers, product owners/managers and designers to ensure the solutions we ship are aligned with users’ needs and goals
- Evangelize the value of UX Research & Strategy, focusing on business value and risk mitigation
- Execute strategic and tactical research across a large pillar of the business
- As the team grows, mentor more junior UX researchers
- Work with adjacent research teams to create a cadence for collaboration/sharing

**Required Qualifications**:

- 2+ years of professional UX research experience
- 2+ years of experience collaborating directly with design, engineering and product to define roadmaps for the business
- 1+ years of experience independently determining appropriate evaluative research methods to answer both simple and moderately complex business questions
- 1+ years of experience using tools such as dscout and Qualtrics
- 1+ years of experience communicating findings to business stakeholders independently
- 1+ years of experience determining appropriate methods to answer both simple and moderately complex business questions
- 1+ years of experience communicating qualitative and quantitative research findings to business stakeholders with mínimal oversite

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience with both remote and in-person testing (experience in lab environments a plus)
- Experience working in a sprint-based cadence
- Experience collaborating across teams and partner types
- Demonstrable ability to translate insights into actionable recommendations that drive impact for the business
