About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled UX Researcher to join our Publishing team at Rockstar Games. As a UX Researcher, you will play a critical role in supporting our teams to create world-class entertainment experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and execute research activities for our Publishing teams, including Marketing, Commerce, Online Services, Creator Platform, and Customer Experience.
  • Develop close working relationships with members of stakeholder teams and other Insights teams (such as Analytics and Consumer Insights).
  • Identify product needs and transform them into research goals.
  • Apply a mixed-method approach, harnessing a variety of qualitative and quantitative methods (including interviews, surveys, heuristics, telemetry, descriptive, and inferential statistics) and adapt methodologies based on logistical and product context.
  • Understand and provide feedback on research artifacts and prototypes to incorporate them in research activities.
  • Generate actionable insights that support product-refining iteration and strategic direction.
  • Effectively communicate research insights (verbally and in writing) to a variety of stakeholders with different backgrounds.
  • Support creation of research strategies at a product level.
Requirements
  • Masters or PhD in Psychology, Human-Computer Interaction, Human Factors, Computer Science or related field, or equivalent industry experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience in UX research in the games industry.
  • Experience collaborating with a variety of product development stakeholders.
  • Broad knowledge of video game genres.
