Innovative experiential programming combines treatment with creativity and passion. Patients spend time outdoors, pushing their minds and bodies through activities such as free diving, spearfishing, offshore fishing, paddle boarding, and mountain biking. As we process those experiences in a clinical setting, the men develop self-worth and humility. We also provide on-going support to family members to rebuild trust and relationships in the context of treatment and recovery. Our intensive Family Week program offers an individualized curriculum that helps family members learn, heal, and fine-tune coping and community skills.

Our dedicated Behavioral Health Technicians play a vital role in ensuring patient safety, maintaining the facility, and providing daily support to our residents.

**Responsibilities**:
Behavioral Health Technicians (BHT) are valuable members of our team. As a BHT at Voyage Recovery Center, your responsibilities would encompass a range of duties aimed at ensuring the well-being and support of patients within the facility. While specific responsibilities may vary, here is a general outline of what might be expected:
**Patient Safety**
- Monitor and ensure the safety of patients within the facility.
- Respond promptly to any emergencies or crisis situations.
- Administer random and scheduled drug screens

**Facility Maintenance**
- Contribute to the upkeep and cleanliness of the treatment facility.
- Report any maintenance issues or concerns promptly.

**Daily Patient Support**
- Provide ongoing support to patients.
- Routinely inspect rooms for cleanliness, provide life skills training when necessary

**Case Management**
- Collaborate with the treatment team to assist with patient case management needs.

**Documentation**
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient interactions and progress.
- Observe medications as per doctor’s orders. Document any discrepancies

**Crisis Intervention**
- Be prepared to intervene in crisis situations and provide appropriate support.
- Follow established protocols for crisis management.

**Team Collaboration**
- Collaborate with other members of the treatment team
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions as required.

**Professional Development**
- Engage in ongoing professional development opportunities.

These responsibilities reflect a commitment to patient care, safety, and the overall success of the recovery process. BHTs play a crucial role in creating a therapeutic environment that supports individuals on their journey to sobriety.

**Skills/Qualifications**:

- Valid FL State Driver’s License, required. Clean driving record.
- High degree of attention to detail, personal initiative, and commitment to quality
- Provides safe and welcoming environment for our patients
- Excellent communication skills

40 Hours

**Salary**: $17.00-$19.00 per hour
