**_General Summary_**

The HR Administrator/Generalist is responsible for payroll and benefits administration. They will assist in recruitment, onboarding, handbook updates and maintenance, required reporting, process improvement, administrative duties, termination, and maintaining confidential employee records. They will coordinate various activities related to open enrollment and support employee engagement and positive work culture initiatives. They will work with the training team to produce effective onboarding and HR specific training programs. Additionally, ensures credit union-wide compliance with all employee-related governmental regulations.
- Ability to maintain personnel files in accordance with current statutes and Credit Union policy, ensuring confidentiality.
- Two to four years of human resources administrative support experience required. Combination of education and related experience can qualify.
- A high school education or GED required. A bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, or related field a plus.
- Well developed interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in a team environment with all levels of the Credit Union to include outside business partners.
- Ability to pay close attention to details and achieve a high level of accuracy when accomplishing tasks.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Significant level of diplomacy and trust.
- Models the Credit Union culture through our You First Core Values.
