Responsibilities of the HR Generalist:

  1. Recruitment and Onboarding:

    • Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
    • Source, screen, and interview candidates, ensuring a diverse and talented pool of applicants.
    • Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, providing them with a seamless transition into the company.

  2. Employee Relations:

    • Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and managers, addressing concerns and resolving conflicts in a fair and timely manner.
    • Foster a positive work environment by promoting open communication, respect, and collaboration.
    • Conduct regular check-ins with team members to assess job satisfaction and engagement.

  3. Performance Management:

    • Administer performance appraisal processes, providing guidance to managers and employees on goal setting and performance feedback.
    • Identify opportunities for employee development and training to support career growth and advancement.
    • Implement performance improvement plans as needed, ensuring alignment with company objectives.

  4. HR Administration:

    • Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
    • Coordinate payroll and benefits administration, liaising with external vendors as necessary.
    • Stay abreast of legal and regulatory changes affecting HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance at all times.

Qualifications of the HR Generalist:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven experience as an HR Generalist or similar role, preferably in a start-up or fast-paced environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport at all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and MS Office Suite.
