VP, Commercial Finance

**Responsibilities**:
Position Overview: Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, this position will lead planning, review, traceability, and analysis of brand specific financial plans and resultsThis position will be responsible for taking ownership of the commercial go-to-market strategic plan, budget, operating cadence, and serve as a key business partner and advisor to the executive team for commercial finance insightsWhile the VP, Commercial Finance will be centered around the finance team, he/she will also serve as support and consultant for Portfolio and Marketing teams, including the participation in supplier meetings, to provide financial strategic and commercial insights to brand strategy plans and ideasOversees annual planning process, focusing on financial forecasting, annual budgeting, strategic plans, long range plans, and provides strategic financial support for key commercial leaders, ensuring revenue objectives and brand budgets are determined in alignment with market and internal trendsEnsures that all brand building investments reflect company guidance, are set to generate desired ROI, and reflect the most effective use of budgets, based on market dynamics and brand performanceTracks progress against agreed upon targets by reviewing monthly financial close and related management reporting and metricsOversees pricing management team, ensuring adherence to guidelines, and identifies opportunities to increase ROI on depletion allowancesTakes the lead in reporting details and provides guidance on evaluation of ROI on marketing spends and effectiveness of promotional spendsLeads the executive reviews with key leadership to drive commercial and business insights on current and future business trends and provides recommendations to develop and sustain growth of the portfolioAnalyze business trends, identify opportunity areas and measure financial impactsBecomes the trusted advisor of the leadership teams with key decisions and influences other functional areas (e.g., Sales, Finance, and Marketing)Leads the effective reallocation of available budgets providing recommendations to Portfolio and Sales, based off key levers/drivers, product pricing, marketing, and the brand’s competitive advantage strategyReports to: CFO; Supervises: TBD, Analyst and oversees pricing execution and strategy?

**Qualifications**:
Exceptional Excel skillsStrong interpersonal and communication skillsExcellent working knowledge of all tiers of the wines and spirits industryProven ability to lead teamsExperience in the wine and spirits industry requiredMust be detailed, organized, and have strong communication skills, both written and verbalConfidence with technology, e.g.: Microsoft Office Suite, business intelligence software, iDigAbility to manage time effectively and handle multiple projectsAbility to work independently and in a dynamic, high energy, team-oriented atmosphere

Pay: $180,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
