**Logistics Coordinator**

Assists Logistics Supervisor in the coordination and scheduling of all import and export traffic by vessel, barge, and truck for the terminal operations team, customers, and various agencies. Additionally, supporting and demonstrating the company’s core values of accountability, integrity, safety, and care of environmental stewardship. This position reports directly to the Logistics Manager or their designee.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist in marine scheduling/coordination with customers, vessel agents, barge companies, and terminal operations to ensure a seamless flow of product through the terminal to maximize operational efficiencies.
- Send terminal management, staff, customers, agents, inspectors, and surveyors’ daily updates on each vessel and barge scheduled to berth at the terminal in the next Seven days.
- Communicate with vessel agents and barge companies to ensure arrival and departure of all vessels, ocean going barges, and river barges to and from terminal docks are arranged and scheduled.
- Provide Dry operation vessel folders for all dry vessels calling TXIT.
- Ensure all information is properly and accurately captured.
- Fleeting Dock Log
- Galveston Schedule
- MAGT
- GCC Dock Log
- Optimize dock utilization.
- Work directly with accounting to ensure all invoices are processed timely and accurately.
- Calculate and send accounting dockage for all vessels berthing in the next five days for processing and distribution to client.
- Contract administration for current dry and liquid bulk customers.
- Oversee the Tweigh Truck Loading software, and daily ops of truck loading.
- NeuAg Running Truck List
- Update Dry Inventory with all truck BOLs.
- Update Consolidated Cargo with dry trucks volumes.
- Holistic understanding of the supply chain and inventory management.
- Organized with excellent written and verbal communication.
- Comfort with flexible schedule.
- Ability to organize, forecast, plan, and manage resources.

**Qualifications and Education Requirements**:

- Minimum two years’ work experience in logistics role
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel
- Specialized training and certifications maybe be required to completed and maintained.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and TWIC.
- Must possess and maintain a valid US driver’s license.
- Must pass all pre-employment testing including a drug test, physical and background check.

**Physical Demands**:

- Must be able to perform work wearing personal required protective equipment including but not limited to rain gear, FRC coveralls, hard hat, ear plugs and safety glasses, etc.
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working at a computer.
