**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Referrals Management**:

- Process and follow up on referrals from healthcare providers.
- Ensure referrals are completed and documented accurately.
- Coordinate with external providers and facilities to ensure seamless patient care transitions.
- **Benefits and Eligibility**:

- Assist clients with understanding and verifying their insurance benefits and eligibility.
- Work with insurance companies to resolve coverage issues.
- Keep up-to-date records of client benefits and eligibility status.
- **Medical Records Requests**:

- Handle requests for medical records from clients, healthcare providers, and other authorized parties.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and other privacy regulations.
- Maintain accurate and organized medical records.
- **Appointment Scheduling and Coordination**:

- Schedule and coordinate appointments for psych evaluations, medication management, and other services.
- Follow up with clients who miss scheduled appointments to reschedule or confirm their ongoing interest.
- Communicate with therapists to determine the necessity of psych evaluations and other appointments.
- **Support Medication Management**:

- Schedule medication management appointments upon client requests.
- Ensure clients receive timely reminders for their medication management appointments.
- **Customer Service and Quality Assurance**:

- Handle incoming calls and provide excellent customer service.
- Document all client interactions and follow-ups in contact logs.
- Escalate customer service issues and quality assurance concerns to the appropriate departments.
- Assist with quality assurance tasks and ensure compliance with organizational standards.

**Additional Responsibilities**:

- Document contact logs and ensure they are updated in the client’s chart.
- Obtain treatment plan signatures and ensure they are up-to-date.
- Update psych services tracking sheets and related documentation.
- Assist with other administrative tasks as needed.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree or higher in healthcare administration or related field preferred.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology, insurance benefits, and eligibility.
- Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) systems and other healthcare software.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.

**Working Conditions**:

- This position is primarily office-based with regular interaction with clients, healthcare providers, and insurance companies.
- Occasional lifting of office supplies and materials may be required.
- Standard office hours with occasional need for overtime depending on client needs and organizational requirements.
