The work revolves around providing members with networking opportunities, promoting the community, and engaging federal, state, and local officials on behalf of business interests.

**About Keep Riverside Clean & Beautiful**

**Purpose**:The Project Coordinator II for Keep Riverside Clean & Beautiful (KRCB) will join an energetic and enthusiastic team of three that recruits, organizes, and mobilizes volunteers for outdoor community beautification projects within the City of Riverside, while coordinating KRCB’s signature events, marketing efforts and project administration.

**Reports to**: Executive Director, Keep Riverside Clean & Beautiful and President/CEO, Greater Riverside Chambers of Commerce

**Essential Functions/Objectives**:

- Project Coordinator manages the recruitment effort for each of the Seven Ward Cleanups.
- Project Coordinator oversees recruitment and management of the Adopt-A-Street, Alley and Trails program.
- Project Coordinator manages the evaluation and annual updates for the Community Appearance Index judging tour (January).
- Work with KRCB staff in the coordination of the KRCB Public Education Program (PEP) for Graffiti (6 per year).
- Work with KRCB staff with a focus on recruitment for the Great American Cleanup event (May).
- Work with KRCB staff with a focus on recruitment for the Santa Ana River Cleanup event (October).
- Work with KRCB staff with a focus on recruitment and managing cleanup volunteers at the annual Festival of Lights (November).
- Project Coordinator manages monthly reporting to Public Works with the KRCB cleanup results.
- KRCB staff participates in select events as requested by City and Chamber.
- Manages KRCB annual calendar, office volunteers and website updates.
- Solicit sponsorships and partnerships by preparing and performing presentations to various groups.
- Perform various office duties: filing, answering phones, etc.
- Perform additional responsibilities and assignments as requested by the Executive Director and President/CEO.

**Knowledge, Skills & Abilities**:

- Excellent oral and written communication and customer service skills.
- Familiarity with local community and regional economy preferred.
- Know social media platforms for weekly campaigns using: Constant Contact, Instagram and Facebook.
- Enjoy working outdoors with community volunteers of all ages.
- Ability to multi-task concurrent projects and operate in a fast-paced office environment.
- Ability to work as a member of a team or independently with limited supervision.
- Previous events planning experience preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Bilingual is a plus.
- Self-starter with a professional demeanor.

**Qualifications and Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a professional environment preferred.
- Able to lift 50 lbs. without difficulty.
- Must have reliable transportation and good driving record (must be able to drive KRCB van).
- Requires Saturday work for scheduled beautification projects.

**Compensation**:

- Full-time; hourly rate range $21-23/hour dependent on qualifications.
- Medical, dental and vision benefits offered after an introductory period.
- Eligible after one year of employment for matching contribution to 401k program.

Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
