Are you an optimistic, organized, multitasking person who loves people and their pets? Sandy Paws Animal Hospital is currently seeking a full time veterinary receptionist. We are looking for someone who understands the importance of providing excellent customer service, has great communication skills and an eye for detail. In search of a teammate that enjoys problem solving, is caring and ready to soak up new information, new ideas and gain new knowledge. The Veterinary Receptionist is the client’s first and last point of contact when calling or visiting our practice and represents the professionalism of our practice. Sandy Paws Animal Hospital provides rewarding careers surrounded by a team of professionals who share a love for pets. We strive for excellent patient care, client services, client education and staff development.

Full time employees will work 35-40 hours a week. Part Time employees will work 20-25 hours a week. Our hours of operations are below:
Monday 7:30AM-7:00PM

Tuesday
- 7:30AM-7:00PM

Wednesday 7:30AM - 7:00PM

Thursday
- 7:30AM-7:00PM

Friday
- 7:30AM-7:00PM

Saturday and Sunday
- Closed

**Duties include but are not limited to the following**:

- Greeting and checking in and out clients
- Scheduling appointments, monitor daily schedule and flow
- Scanning medical records into our practice software
- Answering a multi-line phone system
- Enter client and patient information into our practice software
- Obtain deposits and other payments from clients
- Answer clients inquiries about basic animal care questions.
- Exhibit attentiveness, patience and compassion while working with clients and patients in various emotional states
- Perform other duties as assigned

Expected hours: 32 - 40 per week
