The estimated maximum value of this employer-paid benefits package is approximately $41,360 annually.
**Primary Function**
- Coordinates and provides a variety of technical theater services for the Performing Arts department relative to dance, musical, and theatrical productions; serves as stage manager for assigned productions.
**Minimum Qualifications**
To be eligible for this position, you must meet and provide evidence of the following minimum qualifications:
- **Experience**: Three years of technical theater experience, including scenic construction and/or the operation of lighting and audio equipment.
**AND**
- **Education**: Equivalent to an associate degree from an accredited college or university in technical theater, stagecraft, or a related discipline.
**NOTE**:
- For work experience, a “year” is defined as equivalent to 40 hours per week for 12 months.

**Preferred Qualifications**
- Experience working in an educational technical theater venue
- Experience organizing and leading crews for music, dance, theater and other types of performances
- Experience assisting with planning and coordinating audio and/or lighting plots for concerts in various genres and/or theater performances and musical theater productions
- Experience with high quality audio recording in studio and live performance settings

- Possession of an appropriate, valid California driver’s license by time of appointment.

**Duties and Responsibilities**

- Coordinates and provides technical support for Performing Arts department rehearsals, performances and other events; sets up and operates theatrical equipment; assists in ensuring the safe and proper maintenance of stage, backstage, and scene shop areas.
- Oversees program scheduling and performance calendars; assists with planning and coordinating the operations of all Performing Arts venues on campus; secures outside venues.
