The Account Manager for Cytiva is responsible for growth and expansion of direct sales and profit margins within assigned accounts and/or territory/region on products or services. Establishes professional relationships with key personnel in customer accounts. Meets assigned targets for profitable sales volume and margin dollars.

This position is part of the USCAN Commercial Bioprocess business located in CT, MA, and RI and will be fully remote from home-based office. At Cytiva, our vision is, to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.

**What you do**:

- Own the customer relationship and accounts representing the entire Cytiva portfolio.
- Design and execute account specific business plans including customer goals, strategic initiatives, opportunity development, relationship mapping, and competitive threats.
- Build strong business relationships with customers by earning deep trust and loyalty, driving alignment of their outcomes with Cytiva solutions resulting in mutually beneficial growth.
- Prepare proposals and quotations, initiate and plan customer visits at all levels of the account, and work with the product sales specialists in demonstrating the breadth and range of Cytiva capabilities to meet and exceed territory annual operating plan.

**Who you are**:

- Bachelor’s degree in business, life sciences or relevant field.
- 3 years commercial experience is preferred, preferably in the Biotechnology industry.
- Demonstrated sales skills as evidenced by previous sales responsibilities and business/account planning.
- Strong influencing, interpersonal and networking skills to drive collaborative culture at all levels.
- Experienced in effectively using CRM based tools (ex. SFDC)

**It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in**:

- Proven ability to work within a matrixed team environment.
- Comfort in selling / presenting to all levels of a customer organization, including C-suite.
- Knowledge of Cytiva products and services offered - protein chromatography, cell culture, filtration. Previous life sciences experience.

The salary range OR the hourly range for this role is $85,000.00 to $125,000.00_._ This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
