Driver Frozen Department

The Frozen Class D Driver will report to the Warehouse Manager and will be responsible for delivery and pick-up of all goods related to value added production. This individual will have constant contact with our customers and vendors and will be expected to always maintain a professional bearing.

**Principal Job Duties**
- Delivery of perishable and non-perishable goods from Channel Fish to and from our clients and vendors
- Daily responsibilities include driving Company vehicles in accordance with all Department of Transportation laws and regulations.
- The physical repetitive handling of products weighing in range from 1 to 50 pounds.
- Accurate documentation of all deliveries and pick-ups to and from customers
- Documentation of any short orders and or discrepancies with the delivery ticket
- Calculating DOT hours and the maintenance of DOT Log, reporting of any and all accidents and injuries as well as customer service issues directly to Transportation Management

**Required Qualifications**
- Have proof of a valid driver's license to operate, and acceptable driving record provided by the Registry of Motor Vehicles.
- Agree to and authorize a background check, prior employment verification, provide employment references, and pre-employment drug screening.
- Undergo a pre-employment physical examination in compliance with the Department of Transportation (unless possesses current DOT Health card)
- Ability to lift, carry up to 75lbs.
- Exposure to all weather and elements including heat, cold, icy, and wet conditions.
- Ability to be trained and operate manual and electric pallet jacks.
